Product portfolio rationalization in Agrochemicals in Saudi Arabia

The team worked on this engagement for a large agrochemicals supplier. The objective was to conduct a study of the sector and spot gaps in the client’s product portfolio to restructure it. This was to be considered critical for increasing sales revenues which had dipped considerably in the past couple of years. Through a detailed study involving both secondary and primary research on the evolving cropping pattern and competition, the team cited gaps and recommended addition of products absent in the portfolio. The team also suggested changes in the sales organization. As a result, the company could realign its product portfolio and sales force within a short time in the market.
